It’s that time of the year again when the nation gears up for Love Island 2022, and this year’s line-up of singletons has officially been announced. Ahead of the launch on June 6, ITV released the first set of contestants, and it’s looking set to be another red-hot summer.

Love Island has been criticised for its lack of diversity in the past and, while this year, the producers have included the first deaf contestant, which is undoubtedly a positive step, fans have been quick to notice there is a lack of inclusive body types.
