The next round of the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge starts July 25th, 2022 and to give you the best chance of success, there will be an Ultimate Budget gap week prior, starting on July 18th. It will be available on July 13th, so make a note on your calendar!

So…what is a Gap Week exactly!?

A Gap Week is a time to slow down (without stopping!) and get yourself prepared for the next 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge. Each Gap Week has a theme, such as Detox or Ultimate Budget. Starting the Challenge on the best foot means you’re more likely to have great results, be motivated and set AND reach your goals.

It will be available on July 13th in time to start thinking ahead, because the gap-week will start on July 18th. There’s no doubt that many Aussie families have been feeling the pinch financially as everything from groceries to petrol seems to be on the rise! But despite all these price hikes, eating healthily doesn’t have to break the budget! The Ultimate Budget Meal Plan contains COST EFFECTIVE and DELICIOUS recipes.

In fact, we have worked out a 7 day meal plan and how much on average it will set you back per day making THREE healthy meals and THREE healthy snacks.

The grand total is: $6.60 A DAY! And that is based on grocery prices right now! That works out to be $46.20 a WEEK on groceries to eat healthily!

Delicious Paleo Pancakes – Just $1.52/SERVE

Paleo Pancakes

Snack-able Spinach and Feta Puffs – Just $1.6/SERVE

5 ingredient spinach and feta puffs

Serves: 3


  • 2 cups frozen spinach thawed
  • 2 free-range eggs
  • 1/3 cup reduced-fat feta
  • 1 clove of garlic peeled and finely chopped
  • Pepper
  • 1 sheet of reduced-fat puff pastry


  1. Preheat oven to 200C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.

  2. Squeeze water from thawed spinach then combine with feta, garlic, and one of the eggs. Mix well and season with pepper.

  3. Cut the just-thawed pastry sheet into 6 rectangles. Place a spoonful of spinach filling on one side of a rectangle, fold over the other end of the pastry and crimp the edges with a fork to enclose. Repeat with remaining filling and pastry.

  4. Place puffs on a prepared oven tray, whisk the remaining egg in a small bowl and brush over each pastry rectangle.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.

  6. Two puffs are one serve. Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge to reheat when ready to serve or suitable for freezing. Just defrost and reheat in the oven before serving.

Where to find the ULTIMATE BUDGET Plan in the Healthy Mummy App (AVAILABLE JULY 13th)

This AMAZING gap-week meal plan will be available from July 13th onward. Before then, you won’t be able to find it! So make a note on your calendar, and start counting down the days!

  1. Go to the Home Screen in the Healthy Mummy App and click on Food in the middle at the bottom of your screen.

2. Click on the current month underneath the Challenge Theme.

3. Select Ultimate Budget, which is underneath August 2022, 5 Main Ingredients.

4. Once you have clicked on Ultimate Budget it will take you to the Meal Plan commencing Sunday 18th July.
