Once again, “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” has become one of the main TV highlights of our week. This time, though, it’s the new international series, “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World”, that airs every Tuesday on BBC Three. Whether it’s the important discussions that take place in the work room, the catty remarks following RuPaul and Michelle Visage’s critiques, or the dazzling celebrity judges (we see you, Jade Thirlwall), each week on “Drag Race” so far has proven itself to be a seriously compelling watch.
Most compelling of all, however, are the incredible outfits the queens sashay down the runway in each week. Each episode sees the nine contestants completing a number of difficult challenges that all involve serving some serious “lewks” — and with this competition including queens from all over the world, the standard of ‘fits has definitely been taken to the next level. From Jimbo’s figure-hugging masterpieces and Blu Hydrangea‘s attention to detail to Baga Chipz’s hilarious characters and Mo Heart’s undeniable eleganza, there are a lot of favourites to choose from.
While it’s impossible to forget some of the standout ensembles (Jimbo’s baloney talent-show look, for example), a refresher on some of the best (and worst) looks is always welcome. Thankfully, we’ve taken the time to round up the cream of the “Drag Race” crop, and we’ve ranked them for your judging pleasure.
Keep reading to see which of your favourite queens’ looks made the cut.
