Weight Loss Principles

Thousands of people are now considered to be overweight. I am sure that you are looking to looking to step out of this category…but why are most of us frightened to take the steps towards a healthier lifestyle? Why do we give up before we’ve even tried?

We might make excuses such as…”I lead a very busy lifestyle; I don’t have time to think about myself” or “I’m just built to be overweight”

I honestly feel that unless there is a medical reason, anyone can look and feel their best.

Below I have outlined three easy ways to achieve your goal. Go through them and apply these methods to your daily life and you will start to see the results.

1) Start an exercise regime

This might sound daunting if you haven’t been active in a while. Don’t be put off.

All you need is 15 mins of cardio a day. If you put the effort in, you will start feeling the difference straight away. You’ll feel increased levels of drive, more positive and you will actually start to think clearer. It really amazing what exercise can do for the mind and soul. In fact the benefits I felt in these two areas is what kept me going initially.

2) The second easy way to loose weight is to be more selective of what you eat.

Don’t put fat in your mouth and not expect it to be deposited somewhere on your body.

Your body is precious and you should look after it. This means very limited or better – no take out or fast foods. This is not to say that you are not going to enjoy your journey to a better health.

There are many great tasting health foods out there.

The problem is that we get addicted to fatty foods…I honestly believe that!

When I started my healthy eating, I made a rule to cut out all processed cards, like chocolates, and all fatty foods for one month.

After doing this I no longer felt the dreaded cravings for these unhealthy and destructive snacks.

You might think a month of no junk is daunting, but take it day by day; it’s really not difficult, if I can do it, believe me so can you.

3) Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

This is an essential step in any weight loss program.

Water is an important nutrient and is vital for a variety of bodily functions and processes including removal of waste products and carrying nutrients.

Drinking a glass of water before each meal will help you eat less.

Do this step; try to drink plain water as cordials only add unnecessary calories to your diet.

Follow the steps and you will see the results.

The internet is full of useful information.
